On Friday 21st June we hosted a NAPA (National association for providers of activates for older people) open day for relatives and visitors at Hill Brow Farnham.
We had a good turn out with over 80 visitors coming to see the different activities the residents at Hill Brow can take part in.
Residents were pleased to see their art and craft handy work displayed, and everyone enjoyed admiring it.
Entertainment included; some of our staff members doing Hawaiian dancing, Alison Lee’s daughter and her local ballet group dancing, a Mexican singer and performer, and a local singer called Lucas. All the residents really enjoyed the performances and got involved with the singing and dancing.
Staff and relatives manned cake, jewellery, pampered chef, strawberries and cream, and drinks stalls, which helped rise over £300 for our charity Families Supporting Care.
Food and refreshments were provided by our catering team with a choice of food from the barbeque, sandwiches and cakes.
Despite the rain everyone still had a good time, and we’d like to thank everyone that helped make it a great day.
