May was all about getting out and about. Wednesday the 1st of May started with an enjoyable trip to Squires Garden centre which included tea and cake after a wonder around the pet and fish section.
The lovely Becky come for her weekly visit on the 2nd and took us through our paces with chair exercises.
With a relaxing time with word finder in the afternoon with our joyful Jackie.
On Friday the 3rd we had ball bounce and crafts in the lounge in the morning follow by a trip to Hill House in the afternoon.
Wild Science visited us at Hill House with a whole array of interesting animals and reptiles. They told us about each one. It was very interesting.
Monday the 6th started with giant crossword with Aram, it was a brain teaser but we got there in the end.
We found some lovely Pinecones in the garden which we did some crafts with, in the afternoon.
Wednesday the 8th, Ray Martin came to sign for us at Woodlands. He is a great singer and plays the guitar very well.
On the 9th, after Becky visited us to do your chair exercises in the morning, we had a lively game of skittles. The men especially are very competitive.
On the Friday the 10th after some time relaxing time enjoying the lovely weather in with a drink and a stroll in the gardens in the morning, we joined our friends at Hill House for wonderful concert by Chloe. A beautiful young lady with an amazing voice.

On the morning of the 13th we did some flower arranging and in the afternoon Alison, visited with her gorgeous pygmy goats.
On Tuesday the 14th after the hairdresser and had a game of balloon bounce and clipboard games which was great fun.
We had One to One visits and outings on the 15th. Patricia choose to go to Poppies Café.
Our Aime was awarded a sunflower award by Alison, for her kindness shown above and beyond to a resident.
Out in the garden the residents decided to plant sunflowers, so a group go together and planted one for each residents’ and marked them up.
On the 16th we enjoyed a group trip to the Tweseldown Pub for a tipple of our choice and a catch up.
On the 17th we enjoyed an excellent production by Mary on her Flute and Piccolo at Hill House.
That morning we scored on the bean bag game!
On the 18th we went on a new outing to a Tea Dance. The music was wonderful and there were nibbles and refreshments. Everyone got up for a dance.
On the 20th we celebrated Mr Pickles Birthday and in the afternoon we enjoy a singalong to Peter’s beautiful piano playing.
It was a beautiful day for a trip out, we choose the pub again 22nd.
Alison visited on the 24th with the cutest puppy ever. Her name is Tiny and she is very friendly and loved visiting the
Residents.
On the 27th Correlation singers came to Hill House. They come highly recommended. So we joined our friends there for the entertainment.
On the afternoon of the 28th the bingo bean bag game was out and everyone had a go.
Terry Owen came to sing to us on the 30th, he is such a charmer with a smooth voice, the ladies love him.
