Our annual Garden Party was held on Saturday 10th August hosted by Hill House & Hill Brow. We are delighted with the total raised, a staggering & generous £1000 from raffle tickets, tombolo, cake sale, stalls & more. We are overjoyed with the success of the garden party, the unpredictable windy weather did not stop our residents, relatives & visitors from enjoying the two homes as they hosted an afternoon full of Disney family fun.
The Lee Family have generously offered to double the proceeds raised, allowing us to give ‘Families Supporting Care’ a cheque for £2000. The money raised will go towards keeping residents in the homes they love receiving outstanding care; a charity very close to our hearts.
Entertaining us at the party this year was, Natasha, singing ‘war time’ classics and party greats to get everyone in the spirit. The homes were full of colourful & interesting Disney costumes, we would like to thank all our Disney princes and princesses for making such an effort and congratulations once again to Hannah at Hill Brow for winning the best costume, Alice from Alice in Wonderland.
