We had a very musical week this week at Hill Brow. To start the theme off we chose music and movement as our exercise class. We love to start the day with exercises, it keeps our joints moving and our minds active too!

The reminisce session this morning was inspired by a book written by Jean Metcalfe who used to be on Woman’s Hour. We discussed the them and we were very impressed with the beautiful drawings.

We had a more relaxing morning, while some residents enjoyed the giant crossword, others were pampered while having a manicure.

On Tuesday we had a really good Sing-a-long. With lots of our favourite songs and we just couldn’t resist getting out the musical instruments to accompany us.

Biju plays the guitar and our lovely care staff always join in with the singing.

Arts & Crafts afternoon is such a lovely way to relax. Our lovely ladies were very pleased with their artistic flair.

Every week fresh flowers are delivered to the home for our talented residents to put into vases which are then placed around the home. The always look so colourful and smell lovely.

Relaxing and chatting over a cup of team as we waited for our game of hangman to start.

On Saturday morning we played word association, this always creates lots of conversation and debate.
