We spent the week getting ready for Halloween and celebrating it together. We had lots of Halloween arts and crafts classes where we all got creative and made all sorts of difference Halloween decorations.
Residents at woodlands love the parachute game. The game always turns into healthy battle in no time. We do this game as part of our morning exercises which helps to keep our body moving.
We had an entertainer the lovely Natasha, perform for us. Our residents loved her choice of songs as they danced and sang along with her. We are looking forward to seeing her again soon.
We started to get ready for Halloween and made pumpkin faces on these paper plates. We did get a bit covered in the water paint and it was all great fun.
A relaxed afternoon with manicures all round.
We made these beautiful and delicious cupcakes in our cooking club. They were too pretty for Halloween unfortunately.
We recycled old milk bottle and used them for decorations. They all looked very spooky.
Peek a boo…..
As every Saturday Louis played piano for our residents. The room was filled with beautiful voices in no time.
“ No matter how busy a person is , if they care they’ll always find a time for you”
It was finally time for Halloween. There were some lovely Halloween costumes, the residents were surprised but they loved the effort.
