We had an afternoon of fun with Remembrance Arts & Crafts. We were joined by one of our care partners. Thank you for everyone’s participation and interesting stories and shared memories!!!
We all enjoyed the Remembrance Day, the 2 minutes silence
and then a quiz.
Flower arranging is always a favourite activity. We have
fresh flowers delivered to the home every week. Our
talented residents put them in vases and display them
around the home for everyone to enjoy.
We all had lots of laughs and giggles playing the giant snakes and ladders.
Saturday Morning was our cooking club and we chose to make Ginger bread biscuits. They were delicious!
Residents from all of our homes had the honour of joining the officers and soldiers at a ceremony for the service of remembrance at Brookwood Cemetery. It was a very touching day.
Some of the residents decided to stay at home and watched the service on television.
