At Woodlands and Hill Brow we support families by investing in and developing our staff, as the staff make the home. All relevant training is fully funded up to degree level and most can be facilitated by fully qualified in-house assessors and teachers. Health and wellbeing is at the heart of our business.
In 2019 both homes were awarded Outstanding in their CQC inspections. Which we are very proud of achieving. This is down to all the care and hard work of the staff. In 2018 we won the Inspire Family Business of the year Award this follows on from the 2011 Employer of the year business award these were awarded for our dedication to the development and welfare of our staff. We were judged on our strong culture of learning and motivating staff. In 2013 we were also awarded the Investors in People Gold Award.
We are extremely pleased with these achievements and as a home always want to embed a happy and committed workforce.
No agency staff used and our staff are vaccinated for covid.
