Woodlands Residential Care Home
Family-led for 50 years, providing outstanding personalised care in Fleet Hampshire.
Woodlands is rated Outstanding by Care Quality Commission (CQC), the government regulator of social care. Less than 3% of homes nationally achieve this top rating. The Inspectors Report commented. “The staff in the home are extremely caring” and “Residents are very much at the heart of the service”.
At Woodlands we care and offer support for the elderly living with long-term medical conditions plus memory loss and the early stages of dementia. Woodlands is homely with a bespoke feel. The home has 39 unique rooms and can accommodate couples in the larger suites as required. All rooms have en-suite facilities. We also have a specially equipped care bathroom with an all singing, all dancing bath so that residents who can no longer manage to use a bath, can enjoy a hot bubbly soak or a wet room if residents prefer a shower.
Communal areas include a main lounge and a dining room, both looking over the sunny courtyard which is a popular extension to these living areas in the summer. We have two smaller lounges where residents can go for some quiet time or host friends and family for visits. There is also a library which is a popular spot for the puzzle fans!
Meet the Lee family who have specialised in elderly care for over 50 years
We pride ourselves on our well maintained wooded gardens with water features, a bluebell glade, and plenty of flat pathways. The sunny courtyard, which is protected from the wind on all sides around a beautiful pond, sits at the heart of the home with many of the rooms facing onto this. Each year the resident’s garden club plants out the tubs and planters producing a splendid array of colour and blooms for everyone to enjoy. Tomatoes and cucumbers are also popular to grow as they can be enjoyed at the table!
We provide many planned activities including regular trips to Fleet, Hartley Wintney and Farnborough and other outings to the surrounding area. Our care home fees are all inclusive. This means that the resident pays nothing extra on top of their weekly fees other than for hairdressing (the hairdresser calls once a week) and personal toiletries.
We provide:
- 24 hour care
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Physiotherapy and chiropody
- Doctor’s weekly clinic
- Varied and locally sourced fresh home-cooked meals
- 7 day a week programme of activities and social events
- Activities and outings in Surrey and Hampshire
For over 50 years, our ethos of Woodlands and Hill Brow is to care for our residents as if they were our own family.
We pride ourselves on always being fully staffed and never having to use agency staff.
