Last week on 24th July 2017 two of our homes Hill House Nursing Home and Hill Brow Residential Home were awarded a Certificate for EXCELLENCE by Hart District Council.

The award was a result of a surprise inspection by the Environmental Health Officer in both homes. We have retained the highest rating of 5 by the Food Standard Agency plus an additional award of EXCELLENCE by the Council.

The EHO said that Hill House and Hill Brow had exceeded her expectations of hygiene, the attention to detail was exceptional, also commenting on our organisational standards in the kitchen were above those expected.

What is the Award of Excellence

The award is given to celebrate businesses who have demonstrated excellent food hygiene standards and who demonstrate their commitment to both achieving and maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene.

The scheme is a Hart District Council initiative to recognise those food businesses that achieve excellent standards of hygiene based upon their last full food safety inspection. Only those food businesses that achieve the top score in one of three national scoring criteria used during food hygiene inspections are included within this scheme.

Congratulations to all the staff, we are delighted to be able to share this news with you all, it is only credit to the hard work and dedication that is constantly provided by our professional team of staff.
