We are really enjoying the wonderful gardens at Woodlands for walks, games, activities or just sitting and court yard in this lovely warm weather we are having. On a very sunny Easter Monday we were able to enjoy garden walks and board games.

On Tuesday 14th we all met in the lounge and got stuck into a Giant Crossword which is always a favourite.
We also had an armchair aerobics class as our daily music and movement session.
On Wednesday 15th we played Jenga, scrabble and had a puzzle bonanza alfresco as it was such a lovely afternoon.

On Thursday 16th we enjoyed a visit by Tango, the pet therapy dog, she is such a joy to spend time with.

We also had our weekly delivery of fresh flowers. Which our talented ladies put in vases to display around the home.
On Friday 17th we had a ‘Fruity Friday’ with an all-day fruit theme.
We had a fruit themed quiz and learnt fascinating facts about fruits during the morning. In the afternoon we sampled a range of fruits from melon to mango, blueberries to bananas. This was followed by a variety of mystery fruit smoothies in like strawberry/banana and spinach/banana. Surprisingly! We really liked the spinach/banana one best.

The Fruity Friday concluded with a sing-along featuring fruit themed songs such as ‘Oranges and Lemons’, ‘The Banana Boat song’ and ‘Don’t sit under the Apple Tree’ to mention just a few!
On Saturday 18th the talented Louis playing the piano and we joined in with a lively sing-along.

On Sunday after our morning reading the papers in the lounge, while some chose to be outside our Arts and Craft Club wanted to do some colouring.
And the Cooking Club got together to decorate a delicious blueberry sponge cake with refresh blueberry’s on top to have with a cup of tea in the afternoon.
