What wonderful weather we are having at Woodlands. It has been another week of sunshine, rainbows and celebrating St Georges Day. We have had plenty of opportunity to enjoy the fantastic gardens and courtyard at Woodlands.

On Monday 20th. April we participated in the energetic chair-based exercises. Then we managed an amazing 100 words in an ‘April Showers’ word search, after smashing our own agreed target of 50 words.

In the afternoon we enjoyed Spring garden walks and tea in the

garden with a quiz.

Additionally, we decided to rewrite a well-known song to reflect the impact of the pandemic on our lives here at Woodlands. Please see below the Woodlands very own pandemic version of ‘We’ll Meet Again!’

We’ll Meet Again:

Rewritten by Woodlands Residents: Len, Peter, Diane, Iris M. Kath T. Ann and Margaret V. for the Pandemic 20.04.20

We’ll meet Again,

When It’s Safe To Again

We Miss You, But We

Love You Just The Same!….

Keep Smiling Through,

Just Like You Always Do

No Virus Will Beat Us Ever

Come What May!….

So Won’t You Please Say Hello,

To The Folks That I Know,

Tell Them I’m Safe And Well!….

So We’re Sending Our Love

And All Our Virtual Hugs

Wishing You Well!

We’ll meet Again,

When it’s Safe to Again

We Miss You, but We

Love You Just The Same!….

Helga, Len and Iris also completed a complete tour of the garden and admired the bluebells.
