On Monday 14th. December we enjoyed a bean bag toss and a few rounds of Woodlands Hangman. Then during the afternoon we watched the festive film Scrooge with popcorn.

Christmas Jumper Day 15th. December
On Tuesday 15th. December it was Christmas Jumper Day! We did our chair based exercises with gusto and then listened to Christmas music whilst discussing our Christmas Wishes and some of us having our photograph taken.

On Wednesday 16th. December we did our chair-based exercises and then were delighted to receive Christmas cards from Cove School pupils and the Mosquito Cub Scouts of Elvetham Heath.

During the afternoon we made 9 beautiful table decorations for our Christmas dinner using some foliage from our garden that we collected as well as other decorations and artificial flowers etc. that we already had.

On Thursday 18th. December Rebecca the physiotherapist joined us for our last session before Christmas, and we were busy arranging the fresh flowers delivered. During the afternoon we enjoyed the festive film ‘White Christmas.’
On Friday 19th. December we did our chair based exercises and then sung along to a Christmas Song first liners quiz.

On Friday afternoon we enjoyed Part 1 of a big Christmas quiz and then at 6.00pm following an early supper we enjoyed a very festive Carol singing evening with Louis on piano. We sang everything from ‘Away in a Manger’ to the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’ and then the staff even sang us a 2020 Corona version of ‘Deck the Halls!’

On Saturday 19th. December we were once again able to enjoy a piano song-along as Louis played for us during our Saturday morning session. Then during the afternoon we reminisced about all the traditions of Christmas time using a special ‘Christmas Box’ and learnt a little about their origins.

On Sunday 20th. December we enjoyed a Christmas carol and song quiz and then some of us enjoyed a walk in our lovely garden in the bright Winter sunshine. During the afternoon we listened to festive music.
