From the 8th of March the government has issued new guidance about indoor visiting in care homes, which we welcome.

Residents are allowed a nominated visitor who can visit in a safe dedicated visitor space. Visitors much have a negative lateral flow test, answer a health check and wear PPE before entering the home.

Woodlands and Hill Brow also is promoting a care partnership, which allows family members to support the homes staff in delivering person centred care, for the residents and keep that all important bond with loved ones.
