On Monday 26th. April we enjoyed some gentle chair-based exercises followed by a pamper morning with care staff. During the afternoon the hairdresser visited and we also enjoyed a guitar sing-along with a carer colleague.

On Tuesday 27th. April we enjoyed the Giant Crossword during the morning and then in

Gardening Club we planted out sunflower seeds, celebrating National Gardening Week.

On Wednesday 28th. April we enjoyed a short history and tasting (if we wished!) of Whiskey, as well as some chair-based exercises. During the afternoon we got creative colouring flowers ready for a Spring window frieze.

On Thursday 29th. April  we enjoyed our weekly physiotherapy session with Rebecca.

During the afternoon we were delighted to welcome firstly the Hill House Dog show dogs and their owners and then shortly afterwards a staff member from our sister home Woodlands brought a gorgeous 4 week old orphan lamb in ‘Evie-Rose!’ it was a magical afternoon of animal therapy with lots of petting and cuddles for our animal friends!

On Friday 30th. April some of us enjoyed a trip on the minibus in the sunshine to Ellisfield to see the bluebells now in full bloom.

On Saturday 1st. May May Day we enjoyed word games during the morning and a May Day tea dance during the afternoon.

 

On Sunday 2nd. May it was time for a morning social with the staff and then Film Club during the afternoon.
