On Monday 7th. June we enjoyed a pamper morning with the care staff and Biju played the guitar for a sing-a-long during the afternoon.
On Tuesday 8th. June we celebrated ‘National Best Friends Day’ with reminiscence about friends. This led on to a discussion about sports and a word search. For our physical exercise we enjoyed a lively ball bounce game.

On Wednesday 9th. June the chiropodist visited us for our monthly check up and we did some chair-based exercises. It was a warm sunny afternoon so some of us enjoyed the garden sitting in the shade with ice creams and cold drinks. We also enjoyed walks round the garden and admired all the colourful blooms in Hillbrow’s lovely garden. Some of us also enjoyed the Art and Social group.

On Thursday 10th. June we enjoyed arranging the fresh flowers and had our weekly physiotherapy session.

On Friday 11th. June we enjoyed a trip out on the minibus, then during the afternoon it was time for a skittle challenge.

We also celebrated Rod’s Birthday.
On Saturday 12th. June it was a very Royal day. During the morning we enjoyed watching the ‘Trooping of the Colour’ in honour of the Queen’s 95th. Birthday and then enjoyed relaxing in the shade in our lovely garden during the afternoon. We enjoyed cold drinks and a Royal themed quiz.
