We spent our Wednesday making decorations for Nepalese day. We separated into two teams and one team helped to glue the letters and the other team put the glittering on them. Team work makes the dream work.
Later we sat in the garden and had a chat. We shared chocolates and good laugh.
On Thursday celebrated Nepalese day. One of a staff made Nepalese curry and Nepalese dumplings for all the residents and staff members. In the afternoon a Nepalese dance performance was presented. After we all had a dance together.
On Friday we had Terry sing for us. He sang some classic and pop songs which was enjoyed by all of the residents. They all joined in for a group sing along. Our Manager, Deputy, receptionist and other staff couldn’t resist joined in for a sing song and dance.
One of our residents turned 100 on Saturday so there was a pretty big celebration. She spent her birthday with her loved ones and with our Woodlands family. We all wished her a very happy birthday.
Whenever Louis plays piano the room is filled with nothing but just love and joy as he plays such uplifting tunes.
