What a lovely we have had at Woodlands! We celebrated love, celebrated a birthday, had an outing, made delicious food in our cooking club and played many exciting games.

We started our week with celebration of love (valentine’s day).
The residents made hand made valentine’s cards remembering their loved ones.

We celebrated Valentine’s Day with a very special afternoon tea. The residents received lovely roses and celebrated love.

On Tuesday, the residents spent the day playing different games. They played floor games and also marked their home town on the map.

We made delicious Jam tarts in our cooking club last week. The residents work very well together as always.
They chose to have it after their supper and loved it.

As every Thursday, the residents spent their morning doing exercise with the physiotherapist. We have also been doing exercise every other day which has been
very successful as the residents prefer to start their day doing physical activities.

We had these beautiful flowers delivered to our home again and our lovely ladies were kind enough to help with the flower arrangement. They even offered to clean up after they finished and we did the cleaning together.

Checking if all edges have been painted…

On Thursday afternoon we went on a trip to beautiful Frensham pond. On our drive to the pond the residents enjoyed the scenery and the hustle and bustle of Farnham town centre.
Unfortunately, due to rain we could not walk around the pond but the driver parked our van very near to the pond so, we did not miss out on the scenery. We saw ducks, swans and also some horses.

On Friday, we had a sing along and a dance. The chef and other staff joined us and encouraged the residents to get up on the dance floor. Later, we ended our day doing the giant crossword.

On the weekend, the residents played may games together, did jigsaw puzzles and also celebrated birthday of one of our residents.

We wish to celebrated many more birthdays together.
