Happy Easter to everyone from all at Woodlands.

We celebrated Easter for the whole week and hope you all had a lovely Easter too.

On Monday, as we had a lovely weather we went out for a walk and also felt refreshed with some ice lollies.

Some of our residents also made Easter bonnets while talking about things they did at Easter time. The bonnets are going to be used in summer when we go for outing or also while relaxing in the garden.

On Monday afternoon, a game of giant crossword was organised by one of our care partners which ended with an interesting Easter quiz.

On Tuesday, we continued to make our Easter bonnets in our Easter arts and crafts club. The bonnets will soon be judged by Alison herself. May the best bonnet win.

On Wednesday morning an Easter hangman was run by one of our care partners and in the afternoon, we made a chocolate tiffin Easter nest in our cooking club.

This was the hardest one yet but we are all satisfied with its texture and the delicious rich taste.

As every Thursday, we had our weekly fresh flowers delivered and the residents helped with arranging them and decorating our home beautifully.

In the afternoon, we surprised on of our carer with a baby shower.

All of our carers work really hard and always puts our residents before themselves. Being in her 8th month of pregnancy, the carer is still working and giving the best care to our residents. We took this opportunity to thank her and all of our carers. The residents joined in for the celebration.

On Friday, we had lovely cocktails and snacks in the garden while also making more Easter bonnets and decorations.

On Saturday morning, the residents had a sing along with Louis and in the afternoon they had an Easter tea party in the garden. The residents love tea parties as they take this opportunity to socialize with each other.

On the Easter Sunday, the residents had an Easter egg hunt. We hid eggs all around the garden and the residents had to find them. They very much enjoyed the game and we all had a good laugh.

The residents had a lovely Easter lunch together and enjoyed the celebrations.
