We started our week with a Halloween word search and in the afternoon, we had a big Halloween tea party where some staff dressed for the occasion.

As it’s getting closer to Christmas, the residents thought it was a perfect afternoon to bake a Mary Berry traditional Christmas cake. So, on Tuesday, the residents enjoyed preparing the ingredients needed and baking the cake.

On Wednesday morning, one of our care partners organised a game of hangman with our residents it was enjoyed by all.

While most of our residents played Hangman, some others had their nails manicured and painted.

We went to Hill brow, for a tea party a little while ago and this Wednesday we finally had the honour of returning their hospitality. It was great to see everyone again and catch up with the residents of Hillbrow. We hope to welcome them again soon.

We ended our tea party with a lovely sing-a-long.

On Thursday morning, the residents had a great start to the day with chair-based exercises. After exercises, some of our residents enjoyed flower arranging.

In the afternoon, the residents enjoyed taking part in a game of bingo.

Our residents love intellectual activities such as crosswords, quizzes, hangman and many more. So, on Friday we started with the giant crossword and many other quizzes in the afternoon.

Saturday, Louis played piano in the morning. The residents always look forward to a sing-a-long.

On Saturday evening, we had fireworks followed by delicious BBQ burgers and hotdogs.
