On Monday the residents enjoyed having an afternoon of painting poppy place mats, it was messy!! Then they enjoyed doing a giant crossword in the afternoon.
On Tuesday Keith sang for us and everyone joined in, it was great fun.
On Wednesday afternoon the residents enjoyed a trip out to Poppies café for tea and cake.
On Thursday some of the residents helped with flower arranging, they enjoy doing this each week. In the afternoon they made poppy seed cakes with Becky.
Friday Morning was Remembrance Day. We observed the 2 minute silence, then enjoyed a favourite tipple and snacks from the trolley.
Saturday Louis played the piano and we had a lovely sing- a-long with all the residents. In the afternoon the residents enjoyed taking part in a World War 1 quiz.
On Sunday they enjoyed a war movie with snacks.
