We celebrated friendship and flowers in woodlands this week. We think of ourselves as a big family and also as best friends.
The residents are always together and absolutely adore one another. This week, there were many interesting games and activities to join in, such as quoits, apple box, balloon bounce and much more.
Despite of the cold weather, our residents still did not miss out on their walks. We all wrapped up warm with jackets and gloves, and went out to explore gardens several times throughout the week.
We had floral arts and crafts. Our floral collage on the board turned out beautifully. We also played an interactive game of floral hangman.
We stayed active in the mornings with exercises and balloon bounce games.
One of our care partners volunteered to do a quiz for our residents, which was great fun.
Our residents have great friendships with all the staff too.
One of our favourite pet therapy pad dogs Norma also popped by for a visit this week. The residents absolutely loved cuddles and kisses with Norma.
