This week we celebrated love at woodlands. For Valentine’s Day, we decorated our home and enjoyed many fun activities.

On Monday, we started our day with an intellectual activity, “word search.”

In the afternoon, we had a special Valentine’s tea party. Our chef had made beautiful and delicious cupcakes which were enjoyed by all of our residents.

On Tuesday morning, we had a church service held by Rev Steve Franklin.

All our residents received Valentine’s roses while enjoying their special Valentine’s lunch.

Love was all around in the air of woodlands..

On Tuesday morning, all of our residents visited the chiropodist.

In the afternoon, we enjoyed a skittles challenge.

On Thursday morning, one of our care partners volunteered with an interesting general knowledge quiz for our residents.

In the afternoon, we played a game of bingo and enjoyed our regular flower arranging activity.

On Friday morning, the residents enjoyed a walk in the garden of woodlands.

In the afternoon, we started our preparation for Mardi Gras upcoming week.

On Saturday, we had interactive quiz. The residents enjoyed joining in the quiz, while being served with hot chocolate and marshmallows.

Throughout the week, we had sing-a-longs and dancing in the mornings.

We also spent some time catching up on our scrapbooks.
