We started our week joining in with the dementia choir! We enjoy visiting other homes, with our old friends and meeting new people. It’s important to socialise and spend time with others.

We joined in with a group physio session, this is a great way for us all to get involved and use our muscles, it’s important we work our muscles, and have a good time while doing it!

It was smiles all round as we enjoyed our Art & Social. We coloured dragons in honour of St George!

During all our hard work we enjoyed a range of refreshments to keep us going, of course the girls brought the tea trolley out at just the right time!

The best way to wake up in the morning is with gentle exercise, we did stretches to get us ready for the day!

We wanted to bring some colour into our lovely home, so we banded together and arranged the flowers to be put throughout the home and brighten up people’s day! They smell wonderful too!

The wonderful Rev.Tara came to visit us and gave us a lovely sermon…

And offered us Holy communion! It’s wonderful to celebrate our religion with our friends!

We arranged more flowers, and everyone got involved this time! It was wonderful to spend time with good company doing something for the home!

On Friday we took a trip to the coffee shop! We always look forward to our weekly trips out, it was good to enjoy a lovely cup of coffee and great company!

We enjoyed a quiz on flowers, after all our flower arranging it seemed appropriate to test our knowledge on our most favourite flowers!

A snapshot in time, time to remember lots of significant events over the past 100 years.

We looked back through time and recalled things that have happened in our lifetime! It’s wonderful to reminisce.

As the sun was shining, we spent time in our gardens and worked on our new planter! We got to work planting a variety of plants and now we are ready to watch them grow!

We hope everyone had just as good of a week as we did!
