We started Easter week off in the garden the sun was shining so some of the residents went for a walk and picked some daffodils to brighten up their rooms and the home, they enjoyed being outside.

We started the day with News of the day and chair pilates to get us ready for the rest of the day’s activities then a word search. In the afternoon we made Easter bonnets with the residents.

On Tuesday, we had an afternoon of arts and crafts followed by  games and a quiz.

On Wednesday, we had a mini golf challenge and a game of hang man.  We had a lovely afternoon listening to the lovely Rowena playing the piano and enjoying some cheese and wine.

On Thursday, we started the day with chair yoga, daily exercises and a look at the daily paper.  Some of the residents enjoyed flower arranging to decorate the home.  Eyes down for bingo with Easter treats and the drinks trolley.

 

On the Sunday, – families came with their children for an Easter egg hunt in the garden and around the home.  The residents had a lovely afternoon tea with the lovely Terry who sang along with us, such a fantastic afternoon.
