We started the Royal week by making flower arrangements fit for our castle! We spread them around the home bringing colour and a wonderful fragrance!

Our staff treated us like royalty during our pampering session! We had our nails painted regal colours in celebration!

We spent sometimes reading the king of children’s books! Roald Dahl! We read the classic Rhyme Stew! He is truly a ruler of words!

We played a coronation word association, we all shared good laughter with each other!

There is really nothing better than spending time with our families! We all look forward to your visits and love to see you all!

We start our mornings with gentle exercise, it is the best way to wake our mind and bodies up, even cheeky got involved this day, although she didn’t move quite as much as we did!

We attended a right royal tea dance at Robert May’s Primary school, it was wonderful to see the children having a wonderful time and we even got up and danced as well!

We had a wonderful selection of food, drank as much tea as we could manage and shared much laughter with each other.

We spent some time tending our plants, they have really shot up over the last two weeks! We enjoy watching them grow and can’t wait to see them bloom!

We had our own royal families visit us! We do love to see you all and spend time with you all!

We had our monthly residents meeting, where we discuss any issues within the home with Alison, she gives us updates for any upcoming events!

It was then time for the sunflower awards! This is where we can show the staff just how much we love and appreciate everything they do for us!

Well done to all the members of staff who won! You really do deserve it!

Finally, the day arrived, it was CORONATION DAY! We were all filled with excitement! It was wonderful to be able to see it on the TV with all our friends! We enjoyed a wide selection of treats to celebrate the day.

We had a busy week preparing ourselves for the Coronation, but it all paid off in the end as we had a wonderful day, filled ourselves with cake and wine and enjoyed the Coronation on the TV! We hope you had yourselves a fabulous Coronation week!
