Monday afternoon we thoroughly enjoyed singing and dancing with Terry the singer who came to entertain us.  Then we spent the afternoon playing puzzles before watching the Coronation concert on tv.

Tuesday the residents took part in chair yoga exercises, followed by a great game of Quoits.

Denise came in to give all the residents a trim and blow dry, which helped everyone feel amazing.

Wednesday morning Annabelle the physiotherapist came and the residents joined in with a gentle exercise group ativitity. There was some one-on-one time with each resident. Then we played a game of “Apple Box Ball” which we all enjoyed.

Wednesday afternoon the residents braved the weather and went out in between the showers for a trip to Poppys café, for tea and cake they got very wet but loved every minute. They all came home and got in their warm dry clothes and didn’t stop talking about their afternoon with lots of laughter.

Other residents stayed in the dry and relaxed listening to Rowena playing the piano, while enjoying  doughnuts.

On Thursday we started the day with news of the day and gentle exercise before we had a visit from Winnie the Cockerpoo.

Followed by a garden walk around woodlands.

We wanted to bring some colour into our home, so a few of the residents got together and arranged the flowers to be displayed throughout the home
