We started our week with news of the day and our morning exercises. We also exercised our minds taking part in a word finder all about the Orient. We spent the afternoon having a go at Origami, not as easy as it looks!!!
The hairdresser came on Tuesday so the residents all took turns in having their hair cut and blow dried. Then spent the afternoon having a spa afternoon and enjoying a manicure.
On Wednesday morning, Rev. Steve Franklin came and held a service for those who wanted to attend.
Annabelle our physio also came and encouraged us with our physical movements, always finding fun ways to exercise.
On Thursday it was eyes down, as we enjoyed a game of bingo.
On Thursday afternoon, some our of lovely residents enjoyed flower arranging while other residents played a game of Quoits.
We were treated to some oriental dancing and the traditional clothes were beautiful
On Friday we enjoyed painting, colour and craft therapy.
….and a game of skittles
Saturday, we had a Chinese food tasting afternoon, which the residents really enjoyed.
Of course with the lovely weather, we try and spend as much time as possible in the garden.
