Monthly Church Service
The monthly church service at Woodlands is a beautiful sight to behold as the residents come together to pray.
It is heart warming to witness their faith and devotion as they find strength and peace in their shared beliefs.
The service is a powerful reminder of the importance of spiritual practices in promoting a healthy and fulfilling life.
Beer & Cheese Tasting
Residents enjoyed beer and cheese tasting, complete with grapes and crackers. The experience allowed them to indulge their taste buds while relaxing in the garden. Some were particularly pleased to cool off with a cold beer in the heat of the day. This was a perfect way to offer residents a fun and engaging activity to enjoy with their friends while also stimulating their senses.
Making Alpine Hats! (Arts & Craft)
Excitement is in the air as our residents prepare for the upcoming Oktoberfest celebration! The gorgeous ladies of Woodlands were busy making alpine hats, an essential accessory for any Oktoberfest party.
The atmosphere was buzzing with laughter and chatter as everyone helped each other create their unique hats which were complete with feathers.
Making Pretzels
During our German-themed week, our residents took on the challenge of making their own pretzels. Surprisingly they turned out quite good for the first attempt.
Woodlands had an amazing morning with residents playing air hockey (DIY), which was a hit among everyone. The activity was an interesting and innovative way of incorporating exercise into our everyday life, and the residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Beautiful connections forming in our home.
It was soul-stirring to witness our residents bonding over their shared love for dogs. One resident’s passion for breeding Maltese dogs led to her publishing a book about her experience, and she was able to share her joy with another resident who equally interested. Their genuine connection was a beautiful sight, and it brought tears to our eyes to see such meaningful friendship forming in our home.
