Celebrating one of our residents 104th Birthday at our Home!

It was an incredible moment as we all gathered to celebrate the 104th birthday of one of our beloved residents at Woodlands. The joyous atmosphere spread all around as we celebrated this remarkable milestone. Seeing the joy on everyone’s faces was truly heart warming and it made us realize how precious life is. It was a privilege to be part of such a special occasion and we hope to continue to celebrate many more happy moments with all our residents.

Natasha impressed everyone with her singing, prompting our residents to dance and enjoy the afternoon. Her talent and energy made it a fun and memorable experience for all.

Our residents enjoyed a relaxing afternoon with colouring therapy while listening to our pianist playing soothing tunes. It was a perfect opportunity to unwind and showcase their creativity while sitting together. The atmosphere was calm and tranquil, allowing our residents to disconnect from daily routine and indulge in a calming activity.

Colouring has been proven to enhance cognitive functioning in several scientific studies. It has been shown to assist in preventing the loss of cognitive ability. Hence, we prioritise on those activities that are fun as well as beneficial for our residents wellbeing.

Meanwhile, some of our other residents enjoyed each other’s company and their time in the garden.
