We started our week with a wonderful session of group physiotherapy!
We always enjoy these sessions as we have a great time spending time together along with waking up our bodies and muscles for the week ahead!
After waking up our bodies in the morning we spent the afternoon singing and dancing! We had a wonderful time together and we all love a good dance…even the staff love to dance with us!
We celebrated our lovely resident B.B’s 94th birthday this week! We of course had plenty of delicious cake for everyone and we all love celebrating these milestones with one another!
We gathered in the lounge for the lovely Rev.Tara who gave us a wonderful church service which we all enjoyed! It’s lovely that we can gather and celebrate our faith together!
We celebrated doughnut day! We of course had lots and lots of lovely sugary doughnuts! They were delicious and of course we had to have a cup of tea with them!
We had a great time at our weekly flower arranging sessions! We really love doing this for the home and we enjoy seeing our arrangements throughout the home! They always bring a lovely pop of colour and a wonderful scent to the home!
We had a good trip out to the Wyvern! Where we had a lovely hot cup of coffee, we always love this trip out and enjoy spending time together outside of the home.
We played a basketball quiz! This was great fun, and it is important as it helps to keep our mind active along with improving our hand to eye coordination!
We then had a famous faces discussion! It was wonderful to reminisce and spend time together talking about our memories!
Our beautiful ladies had a trip to the hairdressers! Where they had their hairs styled and looked wonderful and fresh after!
We ended the week with gentle exercises! We do these everyday as it is important to keep our bodies as active as we can and to keep those aches and pains away! We love doing this every day to wake us up for the day!
We had some families visit us this week and we truly loved seeing every single one of you! It really makes our day brighter when we can spend time with our loved ones.
We spent some time reminiscing! We enjoy this time and enjoy spending time together remembering the past and the wonderful things we have experienced!
We had a good game of word association! We filled the board and were bursting with ideas!
