We started this week at Hillbrow with a wonderful Halloween celebration! It was great that our neighbours at Hill House invited us to celebrate with them and we dug out our best costumes! It was wonderful to see all the children’s spooky costumes!
After all the sweet treats we enjoyed on Halloween we had our weekly group physio session! It’s good for us to keep our bodies as active as we can throughout the week.
Our muscles might feel tired after this but we all see the benefits we get from our weekly session! And we always relax after with a lovely cup of tea!
We had our weekly art & social! We enjoy having a creative outlet and luckily, we had our protective aprons handy to save our clothes from getting messy as we enjoyed painting this week to get ourselves ready for bonfire night!
In further preparation for bonfire night, we played firework word games! This really gets us thinking and we all work as a team to come up with as many words as we can.
On the road again!
We all wrapped up warm and climbed onto the minibus to be treated to our weekly residents outing! Dawn surprised us with a lovely trip to Blackbushe airport to enjoy a coffee and we spotted some wonderful art work along with lots of photos of planes of course!
Back home we had our weekly flower arranging session within the home. This is one of our favourite activities as we enjoy giving something back to our wonderful home!
We had some fabulous entertainment from the talented Jeff Gorden! He came and sang for us, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, we spent time listening to our favourite music, dancing with one another and just spending time with our wonderful friends and staff!
We enjoyed some armchair exercises! We do these every morning to ensure we are waking our bodies up for the day ahead and whatever activities that are planned for that day!
Dawn challenged all of us to see if we could touch our head while rubbing our tummy! OF COURSE, WE CAN!
