We started the week with lots of cuddles from the lovely Tinkerbell! We love it when she comes to see us, she’s such a good girl and who could resist that lovely little face!

We celebrated our wonderful staff with the sunflower awards! We are so thankful for all they do for us and all the help and love they give us!

We had a special celebration for one of our members off staff Lynn. Who has worked at Hillbrow for 20 years! We are all thankful for everything she does for us!

We had a quiz in the dining room, due to the building work of the conservatory! The builders are working hard to get it finished for us to enjoy!

We had some visits from some strange looking dogs! The goats came to Hillbrow, and it truly was a sight to see the goats within the home!

We enjoyed our daily morning exercises! These are very important to us as it helps to keep our bodies active each day, it helps improve our muscle mass and keep our bodies working as they should.

We of course enjoyed lots of visits this week from all our families and friends! We truly do enjoy seeing all of you and it really brightens our day!

We enjoyed playing word games, all to do with Remembrance Day! This really gets our brain working as we try and make as many words as we can out of the words remembrance celebrations.

We had one to one visits with the physio! This is important for us as it gives us a chance to have a personalised work out plan each, this helps us to work on any muscles that we feel are tight.

We had our weekly resident outing and this week we were treated to a special trip to the Aldershot Military Museum. This was a wonderful change of scenery, and it was great fun to look around the museum and of course we found the coffee shop and enjoyed a nice hot coffee with some sweet treats.

We enjoyed our weekly flower arranging, we enjoy this as we like doing something for the home and love seeing our colourful creations scattered throughout the home making it smell even better!

We ended the week once again teasing our brains by making up ‘acrostic poems’. This was good fun and really got us thinking hard and we all worked as a team to bring it together!

See you next week!
