With Christmas fast approaching we are all smiles at Hillbrow this week!
We wrapped up warm and took a trip next door to Hill House to look around their festive Christmas fayre! We had a great time, and it was great to see our friends that live over in Hill House!
We played lots of games and did really well as we managed to knock down all the cans!
All smiles with old friends!
We had our weekly group physio session! This is one of our favourite activities during the week as it helps to keep us active!
Put your hands in the air like you just don’t care!
Alison surprised the staff this week with a festive raffle draw! Alison and Gab were gifted a lovely hamper and decided to share with the lucky winners of the raffle!
We couldn’t all win….…. But some of us got lucky!
CONGRATULATIONS!
Our lovely resident A.G with her lovely flowers!
We celebrated Christmas with the lovely Rev. Tara. She came to see us and gave us a wonderful church service! We love gathering to celebrate our faith!
We enjoyed our weekly outing to Redfield’s and treated ourselves to a steaming cup of coffee and plenty of sweet treats to see us through the trip!
We spent the afternoon reminiscing toys of the past!
As you can see, we managed to name quite a few, we enjoy these activities as we love spending time remembering some of our favourite things from when we were younger!
We made our way back over to Hill House later in the week to listen to the bell ringers!
We decorated some festive biscuits ready for Christmas! And after we worked hard decorating them, we enjoyed them with a lovely cup of tea!
We enjoyed plenty of visits from you all this week! We always love when you come to see us, and it really brightens our day to spend time with you all especially round the festive season!
We have a winner!
Our lovely resident Z.M won the Christmas cake! She guessed the closest weight and now she can enjoy her winning prize!
After another fabulous week at Hillbrow full of lots of exciting activities we are well and truly ready for Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you all!
