Our residents were engaged in the delightful activity of making scrapbooks. Their faces light up as they browse through pictures of themselves participating in various activities, evoking cherished memories. This enjoyable afternoon allowed our residents to add their personal touches to their scrapbooks, creating a truly meaningful experience.
Scottish Whiskey Tasting
Our residents enjoyed a whiskey tasting experience featuring three distinct Scottish blends. This event provided an opportunity to explore the varying tastes, smoothness, and sweetness of each whiskey. It was a delightful sensory experience that stimulated their sense of smell and taste.
Robert Burns Night
We celebrated Robert Burns Night with traditional Scottish dinner with a bit of twist considering our residents choices. So instead to haggis our residents had faggis, neeps, and tatties which was prepared by our in-house chef with all the fresh ingredients. Along with the recitation of Burns’ poetry added to the festive atmosphere.
Weekly group physiotherapy with Anna
Anna our physiotherapist, conducts both individual and group sessions tailored to meet the specific needs of our residents. While her individual sessions prioritize personalized care, it is her group sessions that have gained immense popularity among residents. They thoroughly enjoy these sessions and actively participate, making them a valuable part of our weekly routine.

What an incredible day we had at Woodlands! Our cherished Terry and his partner graced us with their presence, captivating our residents and enticing them onto the dance floor. The air was filled with joyous melodies, rhythmic movements, and contagious laughter which elevated the spirits of everyone present. It was truly a delightful and unforgettable experience that brightened our entire day.
We transformed our dining room into a ballroom, creating an interactive and enjoyable experience for our residents. The atmosphere was elevated, fostering a sense of joy and connection.
