We started another week at Hillbrow with a quiz of Welsh castles! As you can see one of our residents named the longest town in Wales!

We had some very special visitors this week as the goats came to see us! This is a great time for us and it’s always fun when we can give the goats tasty treats!

We were all smiles to see them!!

We celebrated our lovely resident M.S birthday this week! She celebrated with her family and had a lovely special day!

We enjoyed an outing to Tesco’s café this week, we of course treated ourselves to a lovely warm coffee and plenty of sweet treats to see us through the rest of the day!

We also met these beautiful twins! And we couldn’t help but fawn over them! We of course had to ask their parents if we could take a picture with them.

Physiotherapy

We enjoyed our weekly group physio session this week, we all spent time in the conservatory and got our muscles moving! This is a great way for us to keep our bodies as active as possible!

Castles

We spent an afternoon talking about the castles of Wales and their history, it was very interesting for us all to learn about the different castles and how important they were within history!

We did our daily armchair exercises this week, we do these daily as it is a great way for our bodies to wake up and get ready for the day ahead!

We enjoyed lots of visits this week and we truly do love seeing you all it really brightens our day!

We had the very talented Silver Steve come to sing for us this week, we couldn’t resist and had to show him all our best dance moves!

We put our aprons and chef hats on this week as we had cookery club! We made a lovely Welsh dish of potato and leek pie! And if we do say so it was incredibly delicious!

We love to see our fury four legged friends!

See you next week!
