We had a vibrant and delightful afternoon at Woodlands celebrating Holi, a festival symbolizing good triumphing over evil. The staff’s cultural attire and dances, along with homemade Nepalese snacks, brought immense joy to our residents. Witnessing their happiness was truly heart-warming.

Continuing the festive vibe, today at Woodlands we hosted a homemade ‘Lassi’ (Drink made of yogurt) tasting. Our residents savoured the cool drink in the warm sunshine. Some of our residents used our marigold garland as a hair accessory and others wore them as it is. Seeing them happy and embracing Asian culture was  absolute bliss.

Our morning began by tie-dying vibrant handkerchiefs for our residents. Embracing the spirit of joy and unity.

Our team of lovely ladies at Woodlands eagerly prepares ‘Nimki’, a traditional Nepali delicacy, for our forthcoming colourful event. Their enthusiasm to explore new experiences is truly remarkable.

Goats Visit

On one of the bright and sunny mornings, our residents at Woodlands had a special surprise waiting for them – a visit from our adorable goats! As they stepped out into the gardens, they were greeted by the sight of the friendly goats grazing in the warm sun. The joy on the faces of the residents was heartwarming and it was truly a morning to remember.

Basking in sunshine at Woodlands, our lovely residents enjoyed arranging flowers to brighten our home. Adding colour and life, their creations bring joy to everyone around.

We went for Bowling!

Our residents of Woodlands gathered for bowling, for a day of fun and laughter. As they laced up their bowling shoes and selected their colourful bowling balls, the excitement in the air was palpable. The new experience of bowling brought a refreshing change.

The benefits of this bowling day went beyond just having a good time. These activities are vital for the well-being of the residents. Bowling not only provides physical exercise but also promotes mental stimulation and social interaction. At the end, our residents were all smiles, reminiscing about their strikes and spares. The bowling day was a huge success, and everyone was already looking forward to the next visit.
