We started our Easter week at Hillbrow with some gentle armchair exercises. We do these every day to help wake our bodies up and keep our muscles strong. Jane led us this week and we all got involved!
We also had a special visitor this week!
We spotted this large heron on our roof having a rest.
We enjoyed a spot of afternoon tea with a mouth-watering assortment of sweet treats. We had scones with fresh cream and jam, a variety of fruit and cake.
For our art and social this week, we were egg painting! These were put on display once we were finished so everyone could see out beautiful artwork!
One of our lovely staff members is getting married, so to celebrate we helped Bev choose some presents to show her how happy we are for her!
We decorated Easter bonnets to celebrate this week! We all went above and beyond to make them look perfect and they do look amazing! And of course, we had to try one on… or three!!
We had the wonderful Steve Robbins come and perform for us this week! He sung all our favourite songs, just as well lucky we brought our dancing shoes!
We enjoyed playing toss a hoop this week, we all had great fun and tried our hardest to get as many points as possible!
On Easter Sunday we were surprised with Easter eggs! We all enjoyed our chocolate!
We were surprised by the Easter bunny and their duckling assistant who came to surprise us for an Easter egg hunt!
