As the warmth of the sun finally begins to make its way into our lives, it’s time to savour every moment of it. And what better way, than by spending time in the beautiful gardens of Woodlands?

Our residents took full advantage of the glorious weather and gathered in the garden for a game of Quoits. With the sun shining bright and a gentle breeze blowing, it was a perfect day for some outdoor fun. The game progressed at a leisurely pace, with breaks in between for snacks and refreshments. The residents shared jokes, stories, and memories, making the activity not only a fun one, but also a chance for bonding with each other.

Staunton Farm

We visited Staunton Farm for a delightful outing. We enjoyed the warm sunshine and each other’s company while interacting with various animals like lambs, goats, ducks, alpacas, cows, donkeys, and horses. It was a lovely spring day for our residents to cherish.

All our residents were filled with a sense of joy and contentment. It was a perfect spring day spent in the company of our fellow residents, surrounded by nature and adorable animals. This farm was a great place to connect with nature and a chance to appreciate the importance of animal care.

Grand National at Woodlands

The Grand National is a highly anticipated event in the world of horse racing, and this year, the residents of Woodlands were able to experience it in a whole new way. As we gathered in the lounge, the excitement and anticipation were palpable. Everyone was eager to watch the race and see who would come out on top. Our residents sat down with glasses of wine in hand to toast to the race. As everyone settled down with their eyes glued to the television, waiting for the race to begin, we also had a little something extra to look forward to – prizes for the winners. The staff at Woodlands had arranged for some exciting presents to be given out to those who predicted the winning horse. This added an extra level of excitement to the afternoon.

One-to-One Scrapbooking

Creating a scrapbook one-to-one with our residents this morning was a nostalgic experience. As we carefully cut and pasted pictures, memories flooded back. It was a truly enjoyable activity, cherishing moments and creating something special together.

Garden Walk

On this beautiful sunny afternoon, our residents at Woodlands had the opportunity to take a stroll around the picturesque gardens of their home. Surrounded by vibrant flowers, lush green grass, and towering trees, the walk was a refreshing break. The purpose of this walk was not only to get some much-needed exercise but also to provide a change of scenery and a chance to enjoy the natural beauty that the garden has to offer. It did not disappoint. The vibrant colours of the flowers, the soothing sound of birds chirping, and the gentle breeze blowing through the trees created a serene ambiance that instantly lifted everyone’s mood.
