We began another lovely week at Hill Brow with some gentle arm chair exercises, we do this every morning to help us wake up. It helps our muscles to stay strong while not being to strenuous on our bodies!

We also spent some time with a very cute visitor. Tinkerbell the PAT dog who came to visit us! She is so well behaved and always gives us a challenge when we help to train her!

We enjoyed our weekly residents outing to Ellisfield Church to see the bluebells. It was a lovely spring day and we enjoyed exploring the grounds of the church.

We enjoyed Dementia Choir this week. We always love visiting other homes and seeing old friends and singing along to our favourite songs with them all.

We enjoyed a weekly visit from the physio this week. Although we do armchair exercises every day the physio provides us with a chance to work our muscles harder within our individual ability and we always play fun games that keep us moving!

We were all smiles this week at our weekly flower arranging session. As always, we love providing fresh arrangements for the home, they smell wonderful, the bright colours always manage to bring smiles to our faces.

We enjoyed a cake quiz this week and named as many cakes as we could. So many in fact that Dawn began running out of space on the board! It made us hungry for a lovely, sweet treat.

We enjoyed a special treat for our taste buds this week, the Hill Brow cheese trolley made its rounds with a selection of cheeses for us to try. Some of them we knew and some of them we had never heard of, however they were ALL delicious!

We enjoyed our Art & Social this week where we spent some time relaxing in the conservatory colouring in pictures of dragons. This is a nice time for us to spend some quiet time together being creative!

We celebrated a birthday at Hill Brow this week!

Our wonderful J.S! of course we made her the biggest cake and sung happy birthday to her, she had a wonderful day celebrating!

The lovely ladies of Hill Brow enjoyed a visit from the hairdressers this week, she came and ensured all their hair was perfect, they look even more beautiful if that was possible.

The amazingly talented Omari came to preform for us this week. He played us, all our favourite songs and obviously we had to dance to show everyone just how much we enjoyed it!

We put on our gloves this week and made some sugar roses. They were quite fiddly, but we managed to make them.

Anyone for a cup of tea?

The Hill Brow tea trolley made it’s rounds this week with brand new flavours and a wide selection of biscuits for us to try! It was delicious and we enjoyed trying new teas we might never otherwise have thought to try!
