Flower Arranging
A delightful flower arranging session that brought together our lovely and creative residents. Amidst laughter, fun, and lively chit-chat, the ladies embarked on a therapeutic experience.
With the palate of vibrant blooms and lush greenery, the residents unleased their artistic talents, crafting exquisite arrangements to showcase around the home.
The session not only fostered creativity but also provided a valuable opportunity to connect with each other. As they worked side-by-side, they shared memories, discussed their interests, and discovered new common ground.
Tinkerbell’s Visit
This year, the celebration of the Dog Show was even more special, thanks to a furry friend who stole the show: our beloved therapy dog, Tinkerbell.
From the moment Tinkerbell arrived, her infectious energy filled the air. Residents, their faces beaming with joy, eagerly awaited their turn to interact with the playful pup. The warmth in their eyes spoke volumes about the positive impact Tinkerbell had on their day.
It wasn’t just residents who were overjoyed. Tinkerbell, ever the charmer, lapped up the attention, happily accepting the homemade treats for her with love by our residents. The heart-warming sight of residents showering Tinkerbell with affection and treats was a testament to the special bond they shared.
Tinkerbell’s visit was a highlight of Dog Show Week. She brought a sense of joy, companionship, and laughter that brighten everyone’s spirits. Her presence served as a reminder of the power of unconditional love and the therapeutic benefits of animal companionship.
Tenpin Bowling!
On this beautiful & sunny morning, Woodlands and Hill Brow came together for a day of fun, friendship, and laughter at tenpin bowling. This joint outing & a shared experience of bowling brought our residents from two different homes together. For some it was their first-time bowling, while others were seasoned veterans. Regardless of skill level, everyone had a great time and left with a sense of accomplishment.
Monthly Residents Meeting
The monthly residents meeting at Woodlands is a much-anticipated event that brings together the residents, staff, and management to discuss various agendas and concerns. This morning’s meeting was no exception, as Alison, led the discussions and awarded the staff for their hard work.
Garden Stroll
On a sun-kissed afternoon, the residents of Woodlands went for a delightful garden walk, accompanied by refreshing glasses of wine. The perfect combination of sunshine, camaraderie, and delectable beverages created a blissful experience for our residents.
