We started our week at Hill Brow with our weekly physio session! We all got involved and worked hard to keep our muscles strong, the physio makes it so fun we don’t even realise how hard we are working!
By the end of it we felt ten times stronger and ready for the week to come!
The weather wasn’t too bad this week, so we wrapped up and spent some time in the garden admiring the beautiful flowers that grow right outside the door!
We had our weekly art and social this week, this is one of our favourite activities, because we can express our creative side. We tried our hand at painting this week, a selection of flowers to be displayed around the home!
Some of us fancied a slower pace and worked our brains with a friendly game of scrabble. This helps us to keep our minds just as active as we keep our bodies.
We joined our friends at Hill House this week for Dementia Choir, this is a great chance for us to see our old friends and sing some of our favourite songs each week!
We enjoyed some flower arranging this week, this is another one of our favourite activities, we love creating beautiful arrangements which we display around the home for us all to enjoy!
Two of our lovely residents enjoyed a visit to the hairdressers this week, they had their hair washed and styled and they look truly beautiful!
We also spent some time this week making a very friendly scarecrow! We had lots of fun working together to make him look absolutely fabulous!
It was National Animal Day this week, so we all worked together to list as many animals as we could. We filled the board three times over! We could think of so many animals!
We had a very special visit this week from the lovely little Patsy! She always brings the biggest smile to our faces with just how adorable she is!
We enjoyed visits from all of you this week along with spending some one-to-one quality time with the staff here at Hill Brow, we really are one big family!
We enjoyed a visit to Redfield’s this week, where we enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee and a sweet treat before browsing their wonderful selection of flowers!
We enjoyed a singer this week who came and sung some of our favourite songs for us! We had to show her our favourite dance moves!
