We started another week at Hill Brow in the conservatory with our group physio session, this is one of our favourite activities as we can keep our muscles strong while having fun! The Physio makes sure we are having so much fun we don’t even realise how hard we are working!

Dawn got our brains working this week with an Olympic themed quiz. This got us thinking and of course we had to fuel our minds with a delicious cup of tea.

We celebrated our wonderful Home Manager this week who has dedicated 10 years of service to Hill Brow! Thank you, Bev, for all you have done for us we would be lost without you!

We enjoyed a sing-a-long of some of our favourite songs this week! We had our song books at the ready and created our very own Hill Brow choir!

We had a wonderful treat this week with a barge trip along Basingstoke canal! The weather was lovely, and the sun was shining so we enjoyed the summer sun and saw lots of nature as well as enjoying a lovely lunch and some cream tea.

We enjoyed the Olympics this week and spent some time discussing sports. It was wonderful for us to share our favourite sports from when we were younger and sharing stories of the sports, we all used to play.

With the wonderful summer sun we spent this week’s cookery club making a delicious snack of fresh fruit salad which is the perfect way to cool down in the recent heat. After working hard to make the fruit salad we enjoyed the juicy fruits!

We spent some time this week discussing vision! We used pictures of some beautiful flowers; we then went onto discuss things we would miss if we lost our vision! It was interesting to think of all the things we would miss if we lost our vision.
