Hill Brow Residential Care Home in Farnham

Celebrating 50 Years of Outstanding Care

Family-Run Since 1976

Hill Brow residential care home in Farnham is rated as Outstanding by Care Quality Commission (CQC). The CQC inspector commented in their report, “Residents were treated by staff with kindness and compassion.”

“There was a visibly person centred culture, underpinned by the providers principles, values and expectations.”

And, “The service had a track record of being an excellent role model.”

At Hill Brow we are really proud of our long family tradition of caring and supporting the elderly living with long-term medical conditions, memory loss and mild dementia. Hill Brow is a purpose designed home with 29 bedrooms, all with ensuite facilities. In some of the larger rooms, we can also accommodate couples. All of our rooms are ensuite with most having wet room facilities. We have a care bathroom and a separate wet room for residents who need hoisted assistance, or just like to enjoy a long bubble bath.

Furthermore, our communal areas include a main lounge, dining room and modern conservatory. This overlooks the sunny garden, which is a popular extension to the living areas in the warmer weather. We have an additional lounge where residents can go for some quiet time, or host friends and family for visits.

Meet the Lee family, who have specialised in elderly care for over 40 years.

Our residential care home is built around our delightful, well maintained, sunlit gardens. The fishpond is the focal point, in finer weather residents enjoy sitting outside watching the Koi carp and birds. As such, residents interested in gardening, are encouraged to help with the planting out. And, tomatoes are a favourite for the grow bags!

We provide many planned activities including regular trips to Farnham, Odiham, Aldershot and Farnborough. Each year, residents enjoy days spent on the Basingstoke Canal or fish and chips on the promenade in Southsea. Our care home fees are all inclusive. So, this means the resident pays nothing extra on top of their weekly fees, other than for hairdressing (the hairdresser calls once a week) and personal toiletries. We provide:

We provide:

  • 24 hour care
  • Medication administration and monitoring
  • Physiotherapy and chiropody
  • Doctor’s weekly clinic
  • Varied and locally sourced fresh home-cooked meals
  • 7 day a week programme of activities and social events
  • Activities and outings in Surrey and Hampshire

For over 50 years our ethos of Woodlands and Hill Brow residential care homes, is to care for our residents as if they were our own family.

We pride ourselves on always being fully staffed and never having to use agency staff.
